Laughter Therapy
Sometimes we are one laugh away from a good mood! So the challenge today is to watch something funny for at least ten minutes. It can be anything that puts a smile on your face!
Laughter is not only something that gets you to take your mind off of negative feelings and emotions, but puts your mind and body into a new state. Laughter triggers the release of endorphins, the body's natural feel-good chemicals. Endorphins promote an overall sense of well-being and can even temporarily relieve pain.
It really is the best medicine, as it also decreases stress hormones and increases immune cells and infection-fighting antibodies, thus improving your resistance to disease.
