Act of Kindness
Go out of your way today to do something nice for someone else!
Tip someone extra, leave a nice letter somewhere, compliment someone, or whatever you can think of!
The act of helping someone else takes your focus off of your feelings, and often when you do something nice for someone else you feel better afterward. This means that not only are you shifting your focus off a negative feeling (if you happen to be in a bad mood), but you are also replacing it with something positive.
That's why whenever you get stuck in a cycle of depression it is always helpful to volunteer.
So have some fun today and get creative on how you can make somebody else's day with your act of kindness!
