Day 27 #LetsRiseAboveFear Challenge: The Master of…

 

Your challenge for today is to journal about how a self-perceived weakness or limiting belief has turned into your greatest strength or superpower.

 

Write a story as if it is a hero's journey, and you are the hero of the journey. 

 

If you are having a difficult time connecting the dots to how your weakness will become your ultimate strength, start with writing the end of the story and write the story backward to the present moment.

 

For example, you are currently deadly afraid of public speaking. Start your story with you giving a talk to thousands of people, where everyone in the audience gave you a standing ovation after you were finished. Then start to work backward. Who did you meet that invited you to speak? What smaller talks were you doing before that? What content were you making (ie: Youtube Videos, Instagram Stories) that grew your social media following? Work all the way back to the present moment.

 

This exercise not only makes you the hero of your own story, but it also lays out the road map on how you can make your self-limiting belief one of your greatest strengths. I personally believe that our most challenging moments in life and the most challenging personality traits are invitations to be one of the most impactful areas, and greatest lessons/strengths in our lives if we decided to take action.
