Rise Above Challenge: Day 6

Share Your Gratitude 


Gratitude is a powerful practice because it offers you the ability to take a negative thought or belief and completely transform it. Gratitude not only allows you to shift your focus off the feeling, but also transcend it into a new positive state. You can not simultaneously feel a fear-based emotion and gratitude at the same time. That is why it is so powerful and you are practicing everyday during this challenge!

Now if you want to amplify it, then it is time to go outside yourself and share it with others. Share your gratitude with at least 6 people today. Text them, call them, write them a letter, DM them on social media, set up a zoom or find a carrier pigeon. Whatever you have to.

It can also be something as simple as saying thank you to a stranger that is a healthcare professional or someone working at an essential business. Either way, make sure to go out of your way to share your gratitude with someone else. If you are having a difficult time with negative feelings, the more you take the focus off yourself and shift to serving others, the less you will be focused internally and caught up in those feelings.

 

P.S. Don't forget to meditate for 10 minutes, say out loud or write down your affirmations, take your Vitamin D3, practice gratitude, and get 20 minutes of movement! #LetsRiseAboveFear
